Pat
Benatar filed an arbitration suit with the world
Intellectual Property Organization also known
as WIPO and lost her case against a fan based
Web site on March 26 2004. The site patbenatar.com
is run by a fan that posts information about
the band.
Due
to the lack of evidence when they didn't supply
proper trademark papers and because the site
is non commercial the fan was allowed to keep
it. Benatar already uses benatar.com and was
seeking to shut down the fan site.
